Text Analysis In Defense of Columbus

Breaking Down the Text Identify the author’s claim by underlining it. The author proves his points not by using evidence but through disproving counterclaims. Summarize in a sentence, each of the two counterclaims that are presented in depth, on the back of your text. Write an E next to the pieces of evidence the author uses to disprove the two counterclaims. Validating the sources: On a scale of 1-5, five being the highest, how would you rate the bias of this source. How does your rating impact the validity of the source?
