Types of Computers 1. Palmtop  It is a small mobile computer that literally fits in the user’s palm. A smart phone has the function of a palmtop. A palmtop

3. Notebook Computer (Laptop) 2. Subnotebook Computer  A portable computer that is smaller and lighter than full-sized notebook computer. 3. Notebook Computer (Laptop)  Similar to a desktop computer, but is comparatively small, light-weighted and portable.

Advantages Disadvantages Advantages and Disadvantages of the Notebook Computer Advantages Disadvantages  Internal hardware components are easy to damage.  Smaller and lighter than the desktop computer.  Difficult to replace and update components.  Fitted in briefcases and easy to carry.  More expensive than the desktop computer.  Relies heavily on power saving battery technology.

Very convenient! My notebook computer is running out of battery. More and more people use notebooks instead of desktops
