North Carolina’s Revised Boundary Recommendation

Next Steps EPA will send a letter by December 21st stating what they think the nonattainment boundaries should be NCDAQ will have meetings with elected officials in the Charlotte-Gastonia-Salisbury region in January2012 By February 21, 2012, North Carolina responds to EPA’s recommended nonattainment boundaries EPA designates areas as nonattainment around the end of April 2012 Expect the Charlotte-Gastonia-Salisbury area to be designated as Marginal
