TURKISH TOURISM

Galata Tower Galata tower located in Galata in Istanbul. Built in 528, the building is an important symbol of the city. The Bosphorus and the Golden Horn can be viewed in panoramic view. UNESCO included the Temporary List of World Heritage Sites in 2013. The Galata Tower is one of the oldest towers in the world and was built by the Byzantine Emperor Anastasius in 528 as the Lantern Tower.

Barn crawler It is the biggest closed cistern in Istanbul. Built by the Byzantine emperor Justinian I. Justinian (527-565), this large underground cistern was named as the "Yerebatan Palace" due to the marble columns rising from the water. .

Aspendos Antique Theater 8 km east from Serik, reached the plain from the mountainous region of Köprüçayı. It was founded by Akalar in the 10th century and is one of the rich cities of ancient times. This antiqe theater was built by the Romans in the 2nd century AD.

Maiden's Tower It is the only work left in the Byzantine period in Üsküdar. The tower, which dates back to 24 BC, is built on a small island where the Black Sea is combined with the Marmara Sea. .
