Doc 4.6(2) A number of Operational centres developed expertise in NWP forecast verification. Sharing of this expertise with other is being sought. RA II has a number of centres with expertise in NWP forecast verification while other don’t. OPAG DPFS has developed a guidelines on nowcasting techniques to be published this year. Members are invited to use it Impact-base forecasting and risk-based warnings is the trend for the future and RA-II needs to work with CBS to facilitate implementation cbs-16@wmo.int
