Some Background and an Update Recent History In the Past, CEAL website was hosted by CEAL Library Technology Committee chair’s institution The CEAL Executive Board approved the purchase of Webspace for the CEAL website in 2007 CEAL purchased the CEAL Domain name in 2007: www.eastasianlib.org The CEAL website now lives in its own webspace Website Current Contents CEAL Directory CEAL Main Page Information on CEAL Policies and Membership Many of the CEAL Committees currently DO NOT yet have their files on the CEAL website Cost: In May, 2007, the CEAL Executive Board approved the purchase of: Domain name registration for 2 years: $28.00 (Renewal in May 2009) Webhosting for 1 year: $39.90 (Renewal in May 2008) Total Annual Cost: $53.90 5/5/2019 Working with the CEAL Website

Creating Your Committee Page: Getting Started Each committee gets it’s own folder in the CEAL website Each folder represents a separate “sub-domain” Sub-Domains have their own passwords, assigned by the CEAL Library Technology Committee Creating a Page You can create a page for your committee on your own computer.  The easiest way to do that is by using web editing software such as Microsfoft FrontPage, Microsoft Expression Web, or Adobe Dreamweaver.  5/5/2019 Working with the CEAL Website
