Starter: Location of Sao Paulo Global – where is it in the world? Sao Paulo is in Brazil in South America, with Atlantic Ocean to the east and North America to the north. Regional – where is it within the continent? Brazil is in the east of South America with Paraguay to the west and Uruguay to the south National – where it is within the country? Sao Paulo is in south east Brazil, south of Rio de Janeiro
