Newberg Girls Basketball www.newberggirlsbasketball.com

Vision To build a comprehensive basketball program K-12 that is aligned and coordinated between each age and level of play. To continually build skill and conceptual knowledge of our players. To prepare players for 6A high school basketball. To compete at the highest level with our Varsity teams each season. To provide a great experience for all players, parents, coaches, and community members.

Core Values Effort- We give 100% in every situation. We never get outworked by our opponents. We work hard at the little things. Attitude- We don’t make excuses. We control our emotions when things get tough. We are resilient and fight until the end of every game. Trust- We believe our teammates will finish out every play. We work to build relationships with each other on and off the court. We trust the coaching staff to teach and adjust to what’s best for the team. Selflessness- We don’t care who gets the praise because positive light towards one of our players is a reflection of the whole team. We have no personal agendas; it is TEAM FIRST only. We strive to make our teammates better with no expectation of anything in return. Focus- We pay absolute attention to detail. We work to accept our role and only focus on the things we can control.

Closing We are always looking for ways to get better In the past five years we have accomplished a lot but there is so much more to do……. We are committed to creating a top notch program in this state We are always looking for more participation from the girls in our community!! It takes us all to get this done and serve our players, families, and community the best we can!

Final Thought The goal of this program is to create a great basketball experience for players and families of all levels. We can do this here in Newberg without the assistance of outside clubs or trainers. The knowledge and power to get this done is right here in our community. I look forward to the continued growth and success of our program!
