THE GAGE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE ARE THEN ALLOWED TO SLOWLY EQUALIZE WITH THE VESSEL. ▀ THE GAGE VALVES SHOULD BE PARTIALLY OPENED BY 1/2” TURN TO PREVENT THE BALL CHECK FROM CHECKING AT THE SEAT. THIS WILL ALLOW THE GAGE GLASS TO FILL WITH LIQUID. UPON READINESS, THE VALVE MUST BE FULLY OPENED TO ACTIVATE THE AUTOMATIC BALL CHECKS. POTTING COMPOUND
