Going away for Christmas or New Year? The festive season is fast approaching. Please ensure you order your prescriptions in plenty of time if you will be collecting before your medication would normally be due. The dispensary requires a minimum of 48 hours to complete the dispensing process of your medications.

Christmas Opening Times The surgery will only be closed on the bank holidays: Tuesday 25th December Wednesday 26th December Tuesday 1st January Other than these days the surgery will be open as normal 08:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, 08:30-12:00 on Wednesdays.

Collecting prescriptions over Christmas and New Year If you are due to collect your prescription on a day the surgery will be closed please see below. If your prescription is not due on a day we are closed please collect as normal. If you required your prescription early please let us know at least 48 hours before collection. Helping you to choose well Out of Hours (when we are closed) Ring NHS 111 Or There is a local walk in centre in Shrewsbury which is open from 08:00 – 20:00 every day of the year (01743 261000) This is located next to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Please do not ask to speak to a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery is open A&E or 999 Phone 999 for conditions you feel are serious and requires immediate medical intervention
