Using electricity safely Secure: Label these diagrams: Using electricity safely Develop: What is a fuse? Develop: Why do we have circuit breakers? ‘Fuse box’ containing circuit breakers Develop: List the ways we can reduce the risks. Secure: Why is electricity a hazard? Exceed: Collect the practice question from the front of the classroom.

The two mistakes are: 1) the strands of the live wire are not connected properly. (frayed wire) 2) the outer wire which contains the inner 3 wires must be secured by the cable grip.
