We will begin with Topic 4 which covers using models and strategies to multiply decimals. In Edmodo, I have folders in the Math group for Topic 3 and 4 based on the standards we are learning. I have several tutorials, lessons and games to reinforce what we are learning about in math class. Please let your child log on iReady for at least 30 minutes during the week at home or when I assign it for homework this week. Science: This week in science we will continue our unit on the scientific method. This week students will get a chance to do some experiments! Students will have a quiz on the scientific method this Thursday. Keep up the hard work Fury Fighters! All review materials are on Edmodo  ELA: This week in ELA we continue to delve into informational texts.  Students will be expected to make connections in the text and identify relationships and interactions between people, ideas or events.  Students will also be expected to identify overall text structures.  Our vocabulary test will take place Wednesday and Spelling test will be Friday. All resources for standards and vocabulary can be found on Edmodo.  Please encourage your student to be reading each night for approximately 30 minutes. Social Studies: This week is Freedom Week. In social studies we will be learning about symbols of freedom in our country as well as the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
