compact 2 alarm module An optional module for the compact 2. Main features are: 3 alarm contacts (relays that can switch up to 1 amp, 30 Vdc) 2 optical isolated input channels (to optionally reset an alarm remotely) Every alarm contact separately settable as high, low, window or totalizer alarm Hysteresis, delay and alarm extension time all customer configurable Built-in 12…30 Vdc power supply, polyfuse protected All variables adjustable locally through the integrated touch screen The alarm module can be easily retrofitted on existing red-y compact 2 meters.

How to update a compact 2 Connect the unit to the computer Start the unit up in „Service Mode“ Start the Service Tool on PC Install the driver (first time only) Update the compact 2 Test if the update is succesfull Some USB can cause problems, especially the long and badly shielded cables. It is recommended to us the Vögtlin supplied cable.

During power-up hold your finger on the display for approximately 3 seconds until the unit switches to Service Mode You do not have to unplug the USB cable to restart, you can do this from the menu as well.
