Coated Salicylic Acid contains ~50% loading of Salicylic Acid,inside the matrix of the oligomer. Salicylic Acid,poorly soluble in water becomes totally soluble In water due to oligomer complex wall. This Oligomer complex enhances water solubility of lipophilic salicylic acid. Becase of the unique multifunction characteristics of the system,when using coated salicylic acid dispersion of salicylic acid requires only mixing rather then use alcohols or other solvents as typically required. This allows the formulation a range of alternates to use as the base without concerns over buffering systems.
