Culture

Definition Culture – (from Latin cultura stemming from colere, meaning “to cultivate”) The set of shared attitudes, values, goals and practices that characterizes and institution, organization or group. Company culture can make the difference between a good company and a great company.

Is Trendline a good or a great company? Who are we? Is Trendline a good or a great company?

One Word Trendline Interactive defines its culture with one very important word. This word takes on many different meanings. It can be used many different ways. It’s our word.

Word. BE

Be. BE honest.

Be. BE transparent.

Be. BE open.

Be. BE inquisitive.

Be. BE cutting edge.

Be. BE humble.

BE. BE real.

Be. BE accessible.

BE. BE direct.

BE. BE impactful.

BE. BE healthy.

Be. BE kindhearted.

BE. BE resourceful.

BE. BE trustworthy.

BE. BE visible. In your community. At home. With your clients. Everyone that you meet...including the annoying ones.

Be. Don’t BE Good. BE Great.

BE. Working at Trendline will not BE 9-5.

BE. BE there for one another.

BE. BE ready to collaborate on a whole new level.

Be. There will BE no drama.

Be. There will BE no political battles.

Be. Don’t BE afraid to make mistakes.

Be. Don’t BE afraid to ask for help.

Be. Don’t BE someone you are not.

Be. Don’t BE a know it all.

BE. Don’t BE afraid to turn away business.

BE. Don’t be overly sensitive to criticism. We are all about giving constructive feedback.

BE. Don’t BE judgmental. Of our competitors. Of our clients. Of your co-workers.

BE. Do BE judgmental. Of yourself.

BE. BE the one to say that we haven’t done our job as a company. Never tie your thoughts to emotional or personal affiliations.

BE. BE passionate about what you do for your clients. (If you’re not, then why are you doing it?)

BE. BE there for your clients.

BE. But, BE ready to tell your client “NO” when they need to hear it.

BE. Work will always BE there. Your kids recital won’t BE. Take the time to BE with your family.

BE. Don’t BE worried about taking a vacation.

Trendline will not BE an army of one. It will be force of many.

BE. Here are a few enlightening ideas or concepts that help YOU define the culture.

BE. We don’t believe in stock options and hoping for a payout in the future. We believe in sharing the profits with everyone on the team NOW.

BE. We don’t believe in monitoring how much vacation you take. We believe creative professionals need to recharge their batteries. Just ensure you do what you need to serve your clients without leaving your team members hanging.

BE. We don’t believe in approving each conference or training event you want to attend. We believe in giving every team member a budget to choose what events are most valuable and asking them to invest wisely.

BE. We don’t believe in individual commissions. We believe in collaboration. Our profit pool is designed to encourage collaborative sales. We ALL profit when another team member succeeds. Help them do so.

BE. We are a place where your job title does not preclude you from having a voice at the table.

BE. “BE” has a lot of meaning and concepts. What does it mean to you?

BE. It means everything to us. Sure we missed stuff...but that’s why your here.

BE. Your here because your are one of the best.

BE. Look around. Everyone else on the team is one of the best too.

BE. We ALL benefit from our association with each other.

BE. You’re here because you will add value to our organization and to our clients.

BE. You’re not here for the money. You’re here for the passion. (ok..maybe your here for a little bit of the money) You’re here for the passion.

BE. You’re here for the respect. To be given. And to be received.

BE. You’re here to make a difference. For our clients. For yourself. For your friends and family.

BE. Some companies think that fresh fruit, a ping pong table and a Wii define a fun place to work. We don’t disagree.

BE. However......we think that its YOU that defines the culture.

BE. How will you define your BE?
