Daily Planners All students are required to purchase a daily planner on their own. Write your homework in your agenda for each subject daily. Complete all assignments on time. Parents please look at your child’s planner each night.

Lockers All students have been assigned a locker. Combination locks are optional, but we strongly recommend you don’t use a lock. Students go to lockers 3x per day (every other class)

Report to class on time with all necessary materials. Listen carefully and follow directions. Be responsible for all assignments. Respect the rights and properties of others. Follow all school and lunch rules.

Discipline

Grading Policy Students are graded on a 10-pt scale Grades should be posted in Parent Portal within 7 days of the due date. (Project may take longer to score.) Each day work is late, five points is deducted. Please check Parent Portal regularly You can sign up for weekly emails from Parent Portal to show grades

Attendance Policy Students cannot miss more than 16 days of school There is NO make-up lab anymore for students to make up absences Excuse notes should be turned in within 3 days of an absence. Out of town trips must be submitted at least one week before the trip in order to be approved as an educational opportunity Students have 5 days to make up missed work

iReady Required to complete a specified number of lessons each month in math and reading. This will be a minor grade. Students will have some time in school but will also need to work at home.
