Call for Poster presentations Mohamed Khider University -Biskra Faculty of Sciences and Engineering Department of Physics In collaboration with LEQ-USTHB -Alger Organize from 27 April to 02 may 2009 Advanced School in high performance in lasers, optics and photonics – Spring 2009 Purpose and nature Lasers are very useful in a wide range of domains such as telecommunications, environment, industry and fundamental research. Any improvement in lasers will have a considerable repercussion in different domains, particularly in optics and photonics. The main aim of the school is to give for students and doctorates the latest developments and performances of lasers and their applications in optics and photonics. Courses: Fast Pulsed Lasers (FPL), Non Linear Optics (NLO), Photonics (PH) This school will include courses, animated by invited speakers, posters and workshops. A social program which consists of visiting tourist sites and discovering local culture is included.
