Stereotyping “...a fixed, over generalized belief about a particular group or class of people.” NONE of these things apply to either gender more than the other. There are individual differences but hundreds of studies have shown that all of the points we just reviewed are stereotypes and not fact.

Some of our commonly held stereotypes used to be the exact opposite. In faCT… Some of our commonly held stereotypes used to be the exact opposite. It used to be expected for men to cry. It was only about 75 years ago that pink became a “girly” colour and blue became a “boys’” colour.
