This tax will mostly redirect tax funds that are already being paid. This income tax will not increase property taxes. If you are a resident of Butler Township and you do not work in the JEDZ area, then you will not be affected.

Butler Township has made the commitment to use most of that money to fund the police department to: Reduce the Crime Rate Increase Officer Initiated Activity Restore Resident & Police Safety
