Objective You will analyze two opposing viewpoints on whether or not peace in the Middle East is possible, and use primary source evidence to support each position.

Step 1 Is Middle East Peace Possible? Read the handout Collect reasons each author gives to support their position. Identify background information

C.E.R. E – Evidence R – Reasoning C – Claim Your answer to the question presented. Your thesis statement E – Evidence Data, text, images, etc that support your claim/thesis R – Reasoning An explanation as to why and how the evidence supports the claim/thesis
