If you are in two of my classes, you will join both classes. Each class will be using different articles.) Browse the article titles and select one that interests you. (Be sure you select one that has a quiz.) Play around with the leveling options. Select a level and practice using the highlighting and write features to mark the text and take notes while you read. (You must make a minimum of six notations on your article.) Complete the quiz for the article you selected.

Wednesday, August 3, 2016 Homework for Parents It is so important to me that we work together as a team and know each other well! In order to start that off, I have a homework assignment for YOU!  In 1,000 words or less, write a letter that introduces your child to me. I get to know the “student” side of your child, but I know that there is much more to him/her. Please know that I am only reading it for content – I am not concerned with grammar or spelling, and it can be in any language! This assignment can be turned in as soon as it’s finished, but is due on Monday, August 14, 2015. Letters may be sent in with your student or emailed to the teacher. Even though there is a “due date,” I will accept these letters at any time during the year! Due: Monday, August 15th, 2016
