Timeline of Family Search book digitization. Pilot scanning project at BYU with FHL begins. 2004 Landmark number of volumes scanned. 200,000 2015 100,000 books scanned. 2013 2018 As of September 14th Family Search has available online 371,475 volumes. 2018 6325 volumes from OCPL collection. 2014 OCPL’s genealogy collection joins Family Search scanning projects. 2007 Allen County Public Library joins FS scanning 2008 Houston Public Library begins scanning
