Microsoft office Power point 2010 Introduction: Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 is a simple and effective interactive presentation program where you can organize a set of slides to appear sequentially either automatically or interactively and organize the shapes and text within the slides, adding movements and sound effects accompanying the movement. The slide elements can be linked to external files or other slides From the same project by using hyperlinks. Finally, the project can be stored as an adjustable PowerPoint file, or an automatic display that can be run without a PowerPoint program in the calculator or a video file.

CHAPTER 1: user interface To run Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 click : Start < all program < Microsoft office < Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 the following window will appear:

The default file address is Presentation1, to change the file name click: File < save as < the save as widow will appear as shown: The work procedure can be saved using the save icon in the command bar.

CHAPTER 2: Create a slide The program automatically places two text boxes in the slide when you open the program, you can clear them by selecting all items by clicking the mouse with drag and then pressing delete key from the keyboard. Let's say we wanted to create the following slide:

Word Art: To create the main address “ WELCOME TO POWERPOINT ” : Click Insert < click word art icon < A text box will appear, write inside it a phrase “ WELCOME TO POWERPOINT ” . To change the color of the main text: Select the main text by pressing the outer borders of the box < the format bar appears < click the arrow next to the font color icon < choose the desired color. To change the color of the main text border : Select the main text by pressing the outer borders of the box < the format bar appears < click the arrow next to the text outline icon < choose the desired color.

To change the dimensions of the main text: Click on the outer border < drag with the click of the white handles around the shape. To show reflection: from the same bar above < click shape effect < reflection < choose the desired reflection. 2. Shapes: To create stars: click Insert < shapes < choose the star shape < all setting can be changed as the same way as using microsoft word 2010 program.

3. Text Box: to create text book < click Insert bar < click text book icon < the shape of pointer will be changed to < We draw the text box in the desired location by clicking and dragging < write inside it the required phrase "WELCOME TO POWERPOINT“ . To make the text box clear: click on the text box < Format bar < click the arrow next to the fill color icon < choose no fill. To hide the borders of the text box: one click on it < Format bar < click the arrow next to the shape outline icon < choose no outline.

4. Background: Add a background: Right click on any blank space in the work board < Format Background < The following window will appear:

CHAPTER 3: custom animation To adds an animation to any object in the slide < Click on the shape you want to move first < click Animation bar < click add animation icon Choose the desired shape from the following window:

When clicking on any of the above patterns is recorded automatically and will appear a yellow box containing the number 1 near the element to be moved, which means that this movement will be the first movement when the project is running (ie, the movements will be numbered according to its establishment to 1 2 3 4 5 .... ). H.W/ Start by distributing movements for the same slide that we created earlier:

CHAPTER 4: save file fourmulas To save file click file bar < save as < the following window will appear :

We will use five major project storage formats: PowerPoint Presentation formulas: The resulting file is of type *.pptx (where * mean any name selected for the project) , It is an adjustable file. This file works with Power point 2010, and may not work correctly with older versions of Power point 2010. The form of the icon will be as follows:

2. PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation Formulas: The resulting file is of type *.ppt , It is an adjustable file. This file works with copies of the old PowerPoint program. When stored in this format, the following window will appear, which contains the report of the effects that will be cancelled due to incompatibility with the old versions of the program:

3. PowerPoint slide Presentation formulas: A continuous button can be pressed , And complete the storage process. It has the same icon in figure 1 3. PowerPoint slide Presentation formulas: The resulting file is of type *.ppsx , It is a non-editable file. Its utility is the ability to display it on any computer without a PowerPoint program. This is useful for preparing commercials and offers that we would like to send to our friends by mail. It has the same icon in figure 1 4. PowerPoint Slide formulas (PowerPoint presentation 97-2003): The resulting file is of type *.pps, It is a non-editable file. 5. Window Media Video Formulas: The resulting file is of type *.wmv , This format was added to PowerPoint 2010 for the first time, It’s a non-editable video file. Its utility is to store the project as a file that works on any video player. The size of the output file using this format is too large to be transferred during Intranet, so it is best to use it for viewing on the PC. The form of the icon is as follows:
