Short video to introduce the fact it is deaf awareness week PLAY

PLAY Basic greetings video 3 minutes Introduction to basics. Class can copy and rehearse. Then can then circulate the room and greet one another

The alphabet You are each going to receive a card with one letter of the alphabet in sign language. You need to practise your letter and then you will be teaching it to others. After 5 minutes, you will be able to circulate the room. Teach your letter to another person and you learn theirs. Once you both know them, trade and move to another partner. Distribute the alphabet around the room and students can practise their individual letter. They can then teach that letter to someone else in the room. Quiz quiz trade with the cards?
