Stained Glass Windows How to Create…

The general purpose of stained glass windows is to tell a story to others visually. We will be creating an image that represents a big idea, emotion, or significant event. Your “big idea, emotion, or significant event” needs to represent something in the past 100 years of human history. Below are some technical guidelines: A 1” border around the edge of the paper Use different colored tissue paper (just like with colored pencils/markers) to create different aspects of the image The ENTIRITY of the image must be border and tissue paper…the only plain, black sections you will have will be the border around the edge of the paper. Form Vs. Function

Pay attention to the areas that are meant to represent the image Pay attention to the areas that are meant to represent the image. They’re going to be broken into smaller sections that will be either cut away or left to act as the “webbing” to hold the tissue paper. Now, to see it happen…
