Single Baseband Structure to support Multi RF We want to enhance QoS and transmit high speed with low power structure. If we could support multi narrow band RF with single baseband chip without any interference among multi RF’s ; QoS & High Speed are not any more troublesome in WBAN. Sep. 2008 S. M. Ryu CASUH H. S. Conclusion Multi Preamble Concept is suitable for WBAN Reduce transmission time & Power consumption Enhance QoS by perfect frame synchronization by hybrid diversity Special Preamble is possible ; emergency, cell planning, multi RF etc Demerits of multi preamble is negligible 128bit correlator H/W is not burden now Longer Preamble length is not time loss Multi Preamble could support new service in WBAN application Supply tool to make single MAC to support scalable data rate Support special purpose service like emergence broadcasting Increase mobile channel capacity by Pico-cell Hand-over Planning Diversity, Selective Hopping, Service converging, etc Multi RF Structure is useful for low power WBAN implementation Synchronous frame concept can reject mutual interference among RF’s Narrow band RF is easy to design, low power consumption and low cost.
