Instructions: Collecting Feedback 1. Add the next slide to your slide deck 2. Display it at the appropriate time in class 3. At the appropriate time in class, distribute cue cards or direct to cuLearn feedback forum to provide feedback

Feedback – Option 1 Individual Work (3-4 mins): On the cue card provided / Using the feedback forum on cuLearn, let me know What I’m doing in my teaching that you find effective & that is helping you to learn (lined side of card) What things I could do differently in my teaching to help improve the learning experience & help you learn better (blank side of card) strategy-business.com

Feedback – Option 2 Individual Work (3-4 mins): On the cue card provided / Using the feedback forum on cuLearn, let me know One thing I should stop doing (is there something we’re doing in class that’s not helping you learn?) One thing I should start doing (is there something I could do differently in class that could help you learn?) One thing I should continue doing (is there something we’re doing in class that’s helping you learn & which we should keep doing?) glassbeadconsulting.com

Instructions: Taking Up Feedback 1. Before you go to class, sort the feedback into categories & tally the number of times each point was raised; write down the feedback that comes up most often, tallies included, in the first slide and add it to your slide deck 2. In class, talk students through what you’re seeing; talk about what can change, but also why some things are the way they are—explain your rationale 3. Add the final slide to your slide deck to get everyone reflecting on the next step for the course. The feedback may suggest that there may be things you need to change, but it also might suggest that your students need to re-think some things, too

Feedback Debrief – Option 1 What’s Working: Add their comments here; categorize & tally frequency of each What Can Change: Add their comments here; categorize & tally frequency of each

Feedback Debrief – Option 2 Stop: Add their comments here; categorize & tally frequency of each Start: Add their comments here; categorize & tally frequency of each Continue: Add their comments here; categorize & tally frequency of each

Feedback Debrief (Both Options) What the instructor will do differently: Capture in-class exchange here What students will do differently: Capture in-class exchange here
