Reimer Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering University of California Berkeley “ I will briefly show how the atmosphere is changing, that humans are the cause, and that there are consequences. These consequences may be discriminated against Earth’s historical carbon cycles, yet those historical cycles demonstrate well what the Earth might look like unless we consider every possible means to decarbonize the atmosphere. I am particularly keen on carbon capture and sequestration and will show that carbon capture is becoming increasingly less costly. ” Invited speaker: Jeffrey A. Reimer is presently the C. Judson King Professor and Warren and Katharine Schlinger Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at the University of California at Berkeley.
