Kitchen : Opening and Closing Checklist What is a checklist? Checklist: a list of items required, things to be done, used as a reminder. Why is it important to use a checklist? It ensures you get your daily, weekly and monthly tasks done on time, helps you keep track of projects on deadline and ensures you're organized throughout the day.

Your Turn: Using a Checklist Work in groups of 3 to 4 students. Each group will be assigned a work station in the kitchen. As a group use the internet on your phone to the find opening and closing duties for your work station. Then using your blank checklist, make a list of the duties for your station.
