Summary This document describes the proposed resolution on the comments related to PICS. The following comments are addressed: CID# 103, 104, 105, 106, 149, 150, 151, 152, 218, 227, and 228

Comments and proposed resolutions CID #103: clause 16 is too general for item RF10.1 MR-FSK Proposed change: 16.1 Proposed Resolution: Accept CID # 104, 105 and 106 Comment: Clause 8.1 does not provide a description of item RF10.2 MR-OFDM, RF10.3 MR-O-QPSK and RF10.4 MR-FSK Generic PHY Proposed change: Use right reference for MR-OFDM, MR-O-QPSK and MR-FSK Generic PHY Proposed Resolution: Revised. Change the reference for RF10.2 to 16.2, RF10.2 to 16.2 and RF10.4 to 8.1.2

CID #149: Item RF10 in Table D.3 should have a reference to "Clause 16." The status should be "O.3." Proposed change: See comment. Proposed Resolution: Revised. As FD6 is referred for SUN PHY device, Change the status of FD6 to O.3 CID #150: Make the references for the SUN PHY more in-line with what's done for other PHYs in the upcoming 15.4-2011. In doing this, there is no need for RF10.6. Proposed change: The references to MR-FSK, MR-OFDM and MR-O-QPSK should all be "Table 66, Clause 16." Also, remove RF10.6. Proposed Resolution: Revised. Resolved as per CIDs 103, 104 and 105. No need to remove RF10.6 as it specifies the selection for one of the frequency bands from table 66.

CID #151: Shouldn't the reference for RF10.4 be more specific? Proposed change: Change reference from 8.1 to 8.1.2.8.2 (or al least 8.1.2). Proposed Resolution: Revised. Resolved as per CID 106 CID #152: The reference for RF10.5 should be 8.1a. Proposed change: See comment. Proposed Resolution: Accept CID #218: Mandatory specifications of MR-O-QPSK are missing. Proposed change Add SpreadingMode DSSS RFxy:M, add RateMode zero Rfxy:M Proposed Resolution: Reviced. Add a new row RF14 for MR-O-QPSK operating modes. Add RF14.1 as a spreading mode DSSS with a reference to 16.3.2.4 and a status as RF10.3:M. Add RF14.2 as a RateMode zero with a reference to 16.3 and a status as RF10.3:M.

CID #227: Status of MLF15 should be FD6:M because it only applies to SUN PHYs, not all 802.15.4 radios.
