The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi The Contract was signed in 1995 and the Construction started in 1996. The project costed more than 2,000 millions Dirhams (or 420 Millions Pounds). In today money that would have been 3,400 millions Dirhams (or 714 millions Pounds!)
