The Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is an open, global specification that empowers mobile users with wireless devices to easily access and interact with information and services instantly. WHAT IS WAP FOR? To enable easy fast delivery of relevant information and services to mobile users. WHAT TYPE OF DEVICES WILL USE WAP? Handheld digital wireless devices such as mobile phones, PDA and more. WHICH WIRELESS NETWORKS DOES IT WORK WITH? XHTML What Is XHTML? Syntax and semantics: Which browsers? XHTML stands for EXtensible HyperText Markup Language. Syntax and semantics: XHTML is compatible with HTML 4.01 This hybrid language looks and works much like HTML but is based on XML. Which browsers? All new browsers have support for XHTML. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XHTML 1.0 became a W3C Recommendation.
