Mrs. House’s Neighborhood October 31- 3rd Grade November 4 Thank you for the donations for the Harvest Treat! Dates to Remember 10/31: Harvest Treat 11/10: Veteran’s Day Lunch in Cafeteria 11/11: Veteran’s Day/No School 11/15: Open House/Silent Auction WEEKLY SKILLS ELA: We will begin our new novel, Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling. Reading and vocabulary test on Chapters 1-3 Friday. We will continue working on citing evidence. MATH: Continuing fractions-comparing/reading on number lines SCIENCE: Chapter 4/Lesson 1-2: The Solar System/Landforms and Bodies of Water SOCIAL STUDIES: Students will locate and abbreviate the states of the Western region of the United States. We will continue working on our state projects which are due November 14.
