Final project VIVA “Tribalism” Media Production 2 Final project VIVA “Tribalism”

Introduction For my final media production 2 project I decided to go for the theme of tribalism and from this project using photography wanted to show the culture and how things are done. I thought it would be a interesting project to work on aboard. I have taken a total of 15 pictures which will be presented In my final project book.

Synopsis The aim of this project is to show the different culture of India using the theme of tribalism. From this project I wanted to show the culture through the wedding and religious side of things too and as I was abroad I thought it would be a good idea to use this as my final project and document it.

Inspiration Jacob Maentz is a American documentary and travel photographer based in Cebu. His work was based around documenting issues related to the human condition and culture from all different backgrounds. After looking at his work I decided to do my final project around the theme of culture as I was away in India and wanted to show their culture around my photography.
