Parts of the Periodic Table Using pg. 161, colour code your new periodic table to show: Use different patterns to distinguish between metals, nonmetals, and semiconductors (see pg. 163). Alkali metals Alkaline earth metals Halogens Finally, indicate the difference between a period and a family. Noble gases Transition metals 25 min You have until 10:35 – use your time efficiently!
