PoPNet Sites Join NASA@ My Library On September 2017, two PoPNet (Portal to the Public) sites joined the NASA@ My Library project to train SMEs and develop virtual programs at Partner Libraries. In May 2018, five additional PoPNet sites will join the project! PoPNet is a network that improves scientist-public engagement. Each PoPNet pilot site trained 4 SMEs and conducted 5-9 programs at Partner Libraries reaching over 200 patrons. The new PoPNet sites will each recruit 5 SMEs and prepare them for virtual programs.
