MEMBER EXPECTATIONS NJHS is more than an after school activity. It is a way to actively participate in our school and community. All members are high achieving students, citizens and most of all, individuals that are willing to lend a helping hand to others. The following are the expectations of all NJHS members. Maintain high standards of scholarship, leadership, and character Participate in at least one NJHS service project each semester Participate in NJHS fundraising events (2 max per year) Attend monthly meetings normally on 1st Tuesday of the month (any absence requires written or verbal explanation to advisor for approval) Complete four hours of community service per year

Fun Run Fundraiser This has been potentially moved to the Fall semester due to the busy Spring calendar

TJHS PRO Dance WOOHOO!!!! It’s an 80’s theme!! FRIDAY, MAY 11th 6:00 – 8:00 We are helping to decorate, so volunteer! WORKDAYS: Please sign up in my classroom so that I know who will be there 1st workday is THIS Thursday after school in Mrs. Baker’s room (211) 2:30 – 4:00. You can leave early if you need to! Bring clothes that can get paint on them (just in case) 2nd workday: TBD (sometime next week) We will also be needing volunteers right after school the day of the dance to help with decorating, as well.

NEXT MEETING!!!! 1st Tuesday is our NORMAL meeting date! Tuesday, May 1st @ 7:00 am in Library Breakfast meeting and announce New Officers!

OFFICERS for 2017-18 Guidelines Officer Applications – DUE ON APRIL 24th!! Voting will take place April 25 – 27th. I will send a REMIND message out that week to remind everyone to come by to place their vote!!!
