DISADVANTAGES WITH THE CURRENT ELECTRIC CAR TECHNOLOGY LIMITED RANGE BETWEEN BATTERY RE-CHARGES BATTERIES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND MAY NEED REPLACING EVERY FIVE YEARS OR SO BATTERIES ARE VERY HEAVY LIGHTER BATTERIES ARE VERY VERY EXPENSIVE

DISADVANTAGES MAXIMUM TORQUE IS AT ZERO REVS AND DIMINISHES AS REVS INCREASE CAN TAKE ALONG TIME TO RECHARGE

ADVANTAGES OF THE ELECTRIC CAR VERY LOW ENGINE MAINTINANCE VERY QUIET NO POWER CONSUMED WHILE STOPPED IN TRAFFIC (freeway car park) ZERO POLLUTION FROM EMISSIONS LOW CENTRE OF GRAVITY IF BATTERY PACK IS POSITIONED CORRECTLY

ELECTRIC ADVANTAGES HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE FUELED FROM CLEAN SUSTAINABLE ENERGY-BE IT SOLAR, WIND OR HYDROXY GAS POWERING A CHARGING GENERATOR SUITABLE TO BE RUN AS A HYBRID SYSTEM USING OTHER PRIME MOVER TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS HYDROSTATIC DRIVES ETC.

THE PROJECT? TO BUILD AN ELECTRIC CAR: - WITH GREATLY INCREASED RANGE - WITH REDUCED BATTERY PACK - WITH AN ON-BOARD CHARGING MOTOR - WITH HYDROXY AND/OR OTHER FUEL INNOVATIONS USED FOR THE CHARGING ENGINE (THE CORNER STONE OF THE PROJECT)

AIMS OF THIS PROJECT: TO DETERMINE THE PRACTICAL MINIMUM BATTERY REQUIREMENT FOR SUCH A VEHICLE AND COST ADVANTAGES OF THIS SYSTEM BALANCED WITH THE ATTAINABLE RANGE. TO DETERMINE THE MINIMUM SIZE ENGINE FOR BATTERY CHARGING. TO DEVELOP AND APPLY A RADICAL FUEL SYSTEM BE IT:MEYER, GEET, ARCHIE BLUE etc.

AIMS OF THIS PROJECT:contd TO SHOW CASE THE DEVELOPMENT IN SUCH EVENTS AS THE GREEN FLEET, DARWIN TO ADELAIDE RACE IN 2009 WHICH WILL OFFER MANY NET WORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND ESTABLISH CREDIBILITY IF INDEED WE DEMONSTRATE EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE

How can this project be achieved? BY FORMING A FOCUS DEVELOPMENT GROUP CONSISTING OF PEOPLE WITH THE APPROPRIATE SPECIALIST SKILLS BY THE DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT OF ASSOCIATION MEMBERS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE BY APPROPRIATE FUNDING OPTIONS.

THE PRIMARY FOCUS GROUP MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION OUTSIDE EXPERTISE WITH SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

THE PRIMARY FOCUS GROUP WOULD CONSIST OF: VARIOUS FOLK WITH EXPERTISE IN HYDROXY GAS, PULSE CIRCUITRY DESIGN FOLK WITH GENERAL ENGINEERING AND AUTOMOTIVE EXPERTISE. A BROAD RANGE OF ENTHUSIATS WHO WANT TO BE INVOLVED.

FUNDING THIS PROJECT HAS BROAD OUTCOMES FUNDING WILL BE MORE EASILY OBTAINABLE FOR AN ELECTRIC CAR PROJECT. HOWEVER THE CORNER STONE OF THE PROJECT IS HOW THE CHARGING ENGINE IS FUELED AND INDEED THE CHARGER IT SELF. THIS IS WHAT WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. SUCCESS IN THIS AREA WILL HAVE MANY OTHER APPLICATIONS SUCH AS:

POSSIBLE SPIN OFF FROM THIS PROJECT STATIONARY GENERATORS CAPABLE OF POWERING A HOME OR SMALL INDUSTRY IN REMOTE LOCATIONS OR ANYWHERE IDEAL FOR MINING, PUMPING, ANY CONSTANT REV ENGINE APPLICATION EASILY DEVELOPED FOR BROADER APPLICATIONS SUCH AS TRANSPORT, HEAVY MACHINERY ETC.

FUNDING OPTIONS ONCE THE PROJECT IS THOUGHT THROUGH IN DETAIL AND THE FOCUS GROUP IS FORMED WE CAN THEN MOVE FOREWARD WITH APPLICATIONS FOR GRANT FUNDING OR SEEK PRIVATE SPONSORSHIPS.
