YESTERDAY The Beatles were once the most popular band in the world. They come from Liverpool, England. They were most famous during a period in the 1960’s called “Beatlemania.” What does this mean? Eventually, the band broke up and each member had successful careers in music thereafter. “Yesterday” is the most covered song in history (over 3000 times.)

YESTERDAY What is Paul McCartney trying to say in the song? What lyrics are most important to you in the song? What does the song mean to you? How can you apply it to your life?

Homework– For Friday I have chosen lyrics (words to a song) from the video on the website. Choose one of the lyrics: Tell me what you think it means.
