Registration for 2L Classes Dropping Courses General Classes (check the Calendar for Exact Dates): First Deadline (usually the first week of class- August 25): courses may be dropped without appearing on transcript Second Deadline (October 25): Before this date, courses may be dropped, but will appear as a “W” on the transcript After this date, courses may not be dropped- failure to attend class and/ or sit for the exam will result in an “F” on the transcript Note: The following classes may not be dropped after the last day of classes from the prior semester (April 22) Clinics Trial Advocacy Classes Mini-Courses

Registration for 2L Classes A Note on Waitlists If a course is full, you will be given the option of placing yourself on the waitlist Students are taken off the waitlist and enrolled in the course on a first-come, first-served basis. If you remove your name from the waitlist and add yourself again later, you will lose your earlier place in line and reduce your chances of getting into the course.
