New Committee Structure
Council-Committee Relationship makes the final decision on all matters Committees: gather information and input on topics within the committee’s mandate as directed by Council provide advice and recommendations to Council on matters in their mandate act as a committee under an Act if required

Operations Committee Responsibilities Provide advice and recommendations to Council Host public meetings or open houses as directed by Council. Provide advice to Council on matters relating to the development, implementation and performance of work plans and programs Oversee the implementation of the strategic plan Monitor and evaluate operational performance of programs and services Hear appeals from members of the public relating to decisions made i.e. specialized transit eligibility, etc.

Board and Committee By-law Preparation please review your agenda in preparation of a meeting Attendance notify the committee secretary if you cannot attend a meeting members are expected to attend all meetings a member is deemed to have resigned if absent from 3 consecutive meetings without notice
