The Future of Sport, Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing Friday 10th May 2019 9.30am-4.30pm Venue: Redmonds Building, Brownlow Hill, Liverpool L3 5UG Cost: Free to LJMU Students, £10 for External Students This conference is a student-focussed event with the aim of exploring how five sport and health-related disciplines all play a role in developing the health and wellbeing of the nation These disciplines are: Sport Coaching, Physical Education, Sport Development, Sport Business, and Food, Health and Nutrition

Keynote Speaker: Hannah Cockroft MBE Hannah is a wheelchair racer specialising in sprint distances in the T34 classification. She holds the Paralympic and World Records for the 200 metres, 400 metres, 800 metres and 1500 metres in her classification and the Paralympic record at 100 metres. Competing for Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, she won two gold medals. Hannah won 3 further gold medals at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio. Hannah will open the day with her keynote about how the five strands of the conference have played a vital role in her life and career as a professional athlete.
