Learning Outcome Apply knowledge of working practices and budgeting in the creative sector.

What tasks do you think are involved in curating an art exhibition? Make a list of the separate items (e.g. commissioning artists, materials and equipment, shipping, travel, etc.). Estimate how much each item might cost.

Look at the website for The Place Is Here exhibition. Read the handout. Using the question sheet, and working in pairs, answer the questions.

Using the template provided, create a budget in an Excel spread-sheet for curating an exhibition.
