How Does the PSAT Connect to the SAT? The PSAT score students earn is the same score they would have earned on the SAT, if they had taken the SAT on the same day.

Preparation Starts in School Read Continuous reading improves vocabulary and develops essential skills. Take Challenging Courses This will help students to develop and strengthen their critical thinking skills. Preparation Starts in School

Calculators 10th and 11th grade students – LEE will provide calculators 9th grade students – LEE will NOT provide calculators. Students will need to bring their own calculators.

Study Guides and Scores Study guides will be passed out to all 9th-11th grade students next week Set up an account on www.collegeboard.org – scores will be available online Dec. 10-12

National Merit Scholarship Program To be considered, a student must: Take the PSAT/NMSQT no later than junior year of high school Be enrolled in high school and on-track to graduate and enroll in college Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident Students do not have to apply. LEE will receive a list of students who qualify.
