How Happy Learned to Putt By: Lucas Beecham, Nathan Kennedy, Jarrod Brown, and Charlie Morrow

Our Machine This machine uses basic energy conversions and concepts of physics to make a hole in one. Made out of balsa and hotwheels track connected with hot glue and all joints strengthened with wire, making this device extremely sturdy.

Racers Delight Converts potential to kinetic energy. Energy transferred through pendulums. We neglected friction in our calculations

The Putt Heard Round the World Car goes through accelerator Impacts golf ball with enough force to get it up the ramp and into hole Coefficient of restitution of collision is unknown

Conclusion Took many hours and a lot of work Good learning experience even though some of us have already had this experience. Overall it was a fun project.
