Key Inquiry Questions What was the Vietnam War? Why did Australia become involved? Was this a popular decision? What was the nature of the Australian involvement? What was the impact of the media on the public’s opinion towards the war?

Watch this YouTube clip and consider the following questions: What can you tell about the geography, climate How old are the men? What are tasks/activities are they doing? What do you think the song is saying?

Imagine that these people were coming to your class to talk to you about their experiences of the Vietnam War. A soldier A protester A Vietnamese refugee 1.
