Be holy, for I am holy.

Discipline and Holiness Hebrews 12:4-11 God’s discipline is demonstrated in our hardships. Everybody goes through hardship. We are to endure hardship as if it was God’s discipline. This understanding is important: It helps us understand God’s nature. It helps us understand suffering is not pointless.

Discipline and Holiness Hebrews 12:4-11 God’s discipline helps us understand His nature and how He works in our lives. God’s discipline does not come from His anger, but His love. God’s discipline confirms we are His children and He loves us.

Discipline and Holiness Hebrews 12:4-11 God’s discipline helps us understand that our sufferings are not pointless. How does God’s discipline train us to be holy? It helps us to be more like Jesus. It hardens our resolve to not get attached to this world.
