Examples project in include What is emergent behavior and why it important for artificial life Uses of EC in the movie industry What are cellular automate and what can the be used for Evolving computer viruses The best animations for evolutionary screensavers and how they work Survey on popular classifier system approaches Something interesting about EC that you like to share Evolutionary art Survey on research on classifier systems Groups of 2-4 student collaborate; the preferable group size is 3; no groups 5 or larger! Create a website (a set of webpages) that summarizes your findings and present your project results in a presentation on Tu., April 29, 2007, 2:30-4:30p (likely there will be no class on April 24). Groups of 2 give an 8 minute presentation, groups of 3 give an 11-minute presentation, groups of 4 give a 14-minute presentation. The webpage can be a summary, a tutorial, an annotated directory refering to other web-pages, a hyperlinked Powerpoint presentation, a set of animations of algorithms at work,… My preference is that you create some small amount of material of high quality rather than creating a lot of material of low or medium quality. The tentative weights for the 3 projects are as follow: P1:1, P2:1. P3:0.45; these are subject to change
