100 Book Club 100 Book Club Text In first grade we have a reading program called the 100 Book Club. The purpose is to reward and encourage reading at home and to reward that effort at the end of the school year. The deadline to join will be in April. To join you may read to your child or have your child read to you and then write down the title of that book on a reading log that I will provide. When reading a lengthy book one chapter may count as one book. We will recognize and award students who have read 100 books at the end of the school year.
