Digital Technology Skills Development

Digital Technology What digital technology did you use in the making of your practical work? Watch your first ever piece of practical work- what shots were problematic? What did you ensure you would do differently? What lessons did you only learn this year after the AS coursework? Areas you still need to improve skills?

Types of Improvement (Camera) Choice of Camera Angles? Types of Camera Movement? Use of the Zoom button? Length of Takes? Framing of shots? Mise-en-Scene consideration?

Types of Improvement (MAC) Editing strategies? Did you change the way in which you edited productions? Use of effects? Did you use them differently? More or less? Did the editing effect the way in which you filmed future productions?

Thinking Deeper Is it difficult to compare your progress in terms of comparing an opening sequence to a trailer? In what ways did you learn of the problems of using digital cameras? Did you take any lessons from your video work and apply them to the Photoshop exercises?
